Terms of use

Within the following TOS Alea_iacta_est_irA may be referred to as the following: I, my, me, she, her, Alea, Alea_iacta_est_irA, voice actor, voice talent, commissioned party, voice-over artist.The commissioning party may be referred to as the following: you, your, client, clients, commissioner.The content commissioned may be referred to as commission, audio, content, voice work, work may be referred to in a plural sense.LegalityBy requesting a commission created by Alea_iacta_est_irA, you, the client, are creating a legal agreement where you agree to the following terms and conditions.The client agrees that they are at least 18-years or older and are a legal adult in their present country, state, or providence.Alea holds absolutely no responsibility for underage clients consuming commissioning her work in any way shape or form. Alea will NEVER knowingly accept a commission or interact with a person(s) that is underage.The client agrees that any work commissioned to Alea_iacta_est_irA is legal in their present country, state, or providence.The client acknowledges and agrees that by commissioning work from Alea_iacta_est_irA does not give them the rights to the following:- Posting work as the client(s) own work or without proper credit.
- Re-using, re-homing, or re-purposing content in any way that was not stated to Alea before payment.
- The sale or distribution of content in any way that was not stated to Alea before payment.ALL USES OF THE COMMISSIONED PIECE MUST BE MADE KNOWN TO ALEA_IACTA_EST_IRA AT OR BEFORE PAYMENT. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN LEGAL ACTION.Licensing and ownership of client’s commissioned contentIf Alea_iacta_est_irA is commissioned for any illegal, copyrighted, or improperly licensed material, the fault and responsibility will fall solely onto the client(s). The client(s) will be held fully legally responsible.By commissioning Alea_iacta_est_irA the commissioner agrees to one of the following statements:The content does not belong to the commissioner after purchase. Alea remains all rights to her work.The content and materials used will not fall under categories of free use and or royalty-free and will properly be credited.The client has been given explicit consent for the use of the content in the way intended by the commission as agreed to by both the commissioned party and the commissioner.I retain the right to use the materials and content provided by you, the client outside of the creation of the final commissioned piece.I do not retain sole rights to the final audio of a personal commission. This includes the right and ability to sell or redistribute the audio in any form unless the client has paid the privacy fee. The privacy fee covers a period of exclusivity for one month. After one month, I retain the right to sell or redistribute the audio.Privacy InformationAlea_iacta_est_irA and the commissioner agree to protect all personal information given at all times.Both parties agree and understand that the leaks of the aforementioned information may result in legal action on either side.Said information includes but is not limited to:- Legal names, online usernames, or other potentially identifying nicknames or descriptions.
- Email addresses that have not been made publicly available.
- Payment information.
- Any content within private email exchanges between Alea and the commissioner, including the identity of the commissioner as stated above.
- Any information including photographs exchanged.Alea_iacta_est_irA retains the right to collect screenshots in the following cases:- Failure of payment.
- Harassment in any form.
- Unprofessional conduct.
- Failure to comply with any listed terms of service.I retain the right to use your project in the form of professional growth (resume, demo reels, linking to posted projects on social media platforms)The client is solely responsible for staying up to date on Alea_iacta_est_irA’s Terms and Conditions.Failure to comply with any of the above may result in a DMCA and removal of content.Credit for Commissioned WorkProper credit is mandatory for all commissioned content unless Alea_iacta_est_irA agrees to otherwise.The client(s) may credit Alea_iacta_est_irA within any reasonable manner as long as it does not:- State, imply, or suggest that Alea approves or endorses you, your business, or your content.It is the sole responsibility of the commissioner to ensure that Alea is properly credited for her work. This includes any authors, editors, or other contributes that she has worked with to produce commissioned voice work.Reasonable Credit is as follows:- Tagging me appropriately on all social media wherever applicable.
- Adding my name as I request to be credited as either ‘Alea_iacta_est_irA’, 'Alea', or 'Alea Audios' in the credits of your animation or video.
- Adding my username - ‘Alea_iacta_est_irA’, 'Alea', or 'Alea Audios' and/or link to my carrd to the description of your posted content.
